Dr. Brett Haderlie is known for assisting his patients who have more than typical back and neck pain. He has been treating problems such as chronic headaches, back pain and ear infections since beginning his practice in Lehi seven years ago. He also specializes in extremity adjusting and auto accident injuries.

“When people actually understand chiropractic, it opens the door for so much more we can help with,” Dr. Haderlie said. “There is so much more to chiropractic work than just back and neck pain.”

Dr. Haderlie became interested in chiropractic when he broke his ankle as a freshman in high school.

“I broke my ankle and, after getting my cast off, I still couldn’t even walk on it,” he said. “It was finally a chiropractor who took my pain away and helped me walk again. That was when I decided ‘Man, I have to do this for people.’”

After serving a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Guatemala, Brett Haderlie contemplated the idea of going to medical school versus chiropractic school.

“I really wanted to help people, and both med school and chiropractic school would help me do that,” he said. “But I loved the idea of helping people naturally through chiropractic work.”

Dr. Haderlie received a Bachelor’s degree in health science from Brigham Young University-Idaho, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California. He and his wife and four children currently live in American Fork, Utah.

Dr. Haderlie says one of his favorite things about being a chiropractor is the gratification that comes from seeing his patients make changes in their lives.

“We have the ability to change our lives if we are willing to change our lifestyle,” he said. “Whether that’s through nutrition or chiropractic, I believe we all have the power within ourselves to make the change to live a better life.”
